Our Company has renewed the look of this classic effect, making a new version where a magic wand is used instead of the usual stick.
The magician shows a big black wand with white tips, aside to which, through some strings, are attached two sets of pom pon of different colors: blue/red and green/yellow. He pulls one of the blue/red pom pon upwards or downwards, to show how they are joint on the same string and how this slides freely through the holes of the wand… Now the real fun starts! When the magician pulls upwards or downwards one of the green/yellow pom pon, the spectators will see one of the blue/red pom pon go up. The trick is repeated more times with increasing hilarity and involvement of the spectators, who will go mad in trying to find a logic of the several movements. Obviously at the end, everyone will think that the pom pons are joined together inside the wand. To leave everyone astonished, the magician divides the wand in two showing that nothing joins the pom pon.
• No skills required. • Suitable for any kind of audience, phenomenal with kids. • The wand is 52 cm long (20") and has a diameter of 3 cm (1"). Pom pons have a diameter of 8 cm (
